What should a repair shop include in a parts request?
- Identify the part. Include the manufacturer or OE part number, the name of the part and a link to any Mega Supply listing you are considering. Include our SKU when available.
- Describe the vehicle. Give the year, make, model and engine information. Include the VIN when asking for fitment help and photos of the original part’s label, connectors or mounting points when relevant.
- Specify the quantity and condition. State how many units you need and whether you are looking for new or used parts. Mention any manufacturer or condition requirement for the job.
- Provide the destination. Include the shipping ZIP or postal code. For heavy assemblies, provide the complete address and unloading details through the freight quote form.
- Explain timing and contact details. Include your shop name, reply email or phone number, and any date you need the part. Delivery timing must be confirmed for the particular order.
Buying a listed item
Open the individual listing and review the product photos, condition, part numbers and included components. Our SKU identifies a catalog item; use the manufacturer or OE number and vehicle details when discussing compatibility.
Requesting several parts
List each part separately with its quantity and preferred condition. A request lets our team review what is available for that particular job; quantity, pricing and any proposed arrangements need confirmation.
Check the match before ordering
A repair request should identify the exact part you intend to replace. If the listing’s title, condition or part number does not agree with your requirements, send the listing and vehicle details to our team before placing the order.
Ask about anything the job depends on, including the specific item’s condition, what comes with it and any installation or programming information you need to verify. General catalog descriptions do not establish a particular vehicle’s fitment.
Ordering engines, transmissions or differential assemblies
These freight items require an address-based shipping quote before payment. Include the SKU and quantity, complete delivery address, address type, unloading equipment and whether you need liftgate delivery.
Freight is not included in the displayed product price. Our team confirms availability and the item and shipping total, then sends a Shopify payment link. Changes to the address or unloading needs require a new quote.
