Part number & fitment guide

What information do you need to check a part?

For fitment help, send Mega Supply the product link or stock SKU, the manufacturer or OE part number, your vehicle’s year, make, model and engine details, and the VIN when available. Include clear photos of the original part and its label if the numbers or configuration are unclear.

Manufacturer number, OE reference and SKU: which should I send?

Manufacturer or OE part number

Copy the number printed on the original part or its label. Include the full number and a photo so the team can see its exact formatting and any additional identifiers. Tell us whether it came from the installed part or from another reference.

Mega Supply SKU

Our SKU is a stock reference for the listing you are asking about. Send it together with the product link. It identifies our catalog item; it does not replace the manufacturer number or establish vehicle compatibility.

When reviewing an aftermarket listing, distinguish the product’s stated manufacturer from any OE reference number. An OE reference alone does not mean the listed product was made by the original vehicle manufacturer.

Prepare a useful fitment inquiry

  1. Choose the listing. Copy the product link and SKU, or describe the part you need if you have not found a candidate.
  2. Identify the vehicle. Provide its year, make, model and engine, plus the VIN when available.
  3. Show the original part. Share its full part number and clear photos of the label and the relevant connections or mounting points.
  4. State the requirement. Explain the position or side where relevant, the quantity needed, and whether you want new or used condition.
  5. Point out any uncertainty. Tell us if a number differs, a label is missing, the part has been replaced before or a listing detail appears inconsistent.

Send these details through the contact and fitment help page or email info@megasupplyinc.com.

What should I review on the listing?

Read the title, photos, manufacturer information, condition notes, included components and any fitment information together. Compare them with the part and vehicle details you have collected. Ask about conflicting or missing details before ordering.

The vehicle make or model in a search result is a starting point, not a complete fitment decision. This guide does not establish compatibility for a particular vehicle or promise that every part can be verified from a VIN alone.

If the job depends on installation, coding, programming or another vehicle-specific requirement, verify that requirement with the person performing the work and ask about the selected item before buying.

Does a matching part number tell me the condition?

No. Compatibility and condition are separate questions. Mega Supply sells both new and used parts, including OEM and aftermarket products. Review the individual listing’s condition and manufacturer details, and ask for clarification where needed.

Review the store’s return policy and any terms stated for the selected item before purchase. A fitment inquiry does not replace those terms.

Ready to search or request a quote?

Browse Mega Supply parts or send a fitment inquiry. Repair shops can use the parts request checklist for multiple items.
