How do I get a freight quote for a heavy auto part?
Engines, transmissions, differential assemblies and other freight items need a shipping quote before purchase. Send the product or SKU, quantity, complete delivery address and unloading requirements. Mega Supply confirms availability and the item and shipping total before sending a Shopify payment link.
Is freight included in the item price?
Freight is not included in the displayed product price. The delivery quote is based on your actual address and unloading needs. Review the confirmed item and shipping total before payment.
What details does the quote form ask for?
- Product and quantity. Provide the product name or SKU and the quantity. You can request a quote for more than one item.
- Your contact details. Include your full name, email and phone number. Company name is optional.
- Complete delivery address. Include the street, suite or unit if applicable, city, state or province, ZIP or postal code, and country.
- Address type. Choose commercial/business, residential/home business, limited-access location, or “Not sure.”
- Unloading equipment. State whether a forklift, loading dock, both or neither will be available. Choose “Not sure” if you need help confirming.
- Liftgate and access needs. Say whether liftgate delivery is needed, or request help confirming it. Add any access restrictions or other delivery notes.
What is a liftgate?
A liftgate lowers the pallet from the truck to the ground. It may be needed when no suitable forklift or loading dock is available. If you are unsure, select that option on the form so the unloading requirements can be reviewed with the quote.
What if the delivery details change?
A change to the address or unloading requirements requires a new quote. Contact the team with the updated details before relying on an earlier shipping total.
What happens after I request a quote?
- The team reviews the request. Item availability and delivery service are confirmed for the selected parts and destination.
- You receive the item and shipping total. The freight cost is based on the address and unloading details supplied.
- You pay the agreed total. Mega Supply sends a Shopify payment link after the details and total are confirmed.
Sending a request does not confirm the item’s availability or a delivery date. See the store’s current shipping policy for processing and delivery terms, and its return policy before purchase.
Can you deliver to a home or an international address?
The form accepts residential and international address details, but submitting an address does not confirm delivery service. The team must confirm availability for the particular destination and shipment. Include access and unloading details, and contact us before an international order.
